an experimental fiction shortfilm which takes place far away in the danish countryside. the film's suggestive imagery leads us unto a surreal and mysterious atmosphere. the film employs very diverse stylistic expressions: vaudeville drama, weird music and choir arrangements, performance and parade; surreal romance and a love story all find a space in a series of visual tableaux. originating in texts form denmark's ancient national-poet adam oehlenschlaeger's “sankt hans aftens spil”, the high romanticism of the golden age is brought out and is recycled in a playfully ironic, contemporary way..
